| The girl saw the three plates on the floor. She was very hungry and wanted to try the soup. She tasted the soup that was on the large plate. It was very cold. Then she tasted the soup that was on the medium plate but it was very hot. Then she tasted the soup that was on the small plate and she liked it so much that she ate it all. On the other side of the room were the three chairs. The girl wanted to rest before going home. First she tried the large chair but it was very high. Then she tried the medium chair but it was very wide. Finally she tried the small chair but when she sat on it, she broke it to pieces. | Vio la niña los tres platos en el suelo. Tenía mucha hambre y quería probar la sopa. Probó la sopa que estaba en el plato grande. Estaba muy fría. Entonces probó la sopa que estaba en el plato mediano; pero estaba muy caliente. | Then she saw the beds in the bedroom and she wanted to take a nap before going home. First she tried the large bed but it was too soft. Then she tried the medium bed but it was too hard. Finally, she tried the small bed and since it was very comfortable and she liked it, she lay down on it and fell asleep. While she was asleep, the three bears returned home. | Luego vio las camas en la alcoba, y quería dormir la siesta antes de ir a casa. Primero probó la cama grande; pero era demasiado blanda. | They were hungry after their walk and wanted to eat the soup. The large bear raised his plate and roared, "Someone has tasted my soup!" Then the medium bear raised his plate and growled, "Someone has tasted my soup too!" Finally, the little bear raised his plate and shouted, "Someone has tasted my soup and has eaten it up!" | Then they all went into the bedroom. The large bear was the first one to see his bed and bellowed, "Someone has slept on my bed!" Then the medium bear saw his bed and growled, "Someone has slept on my bed too!" Finally the little bear saw his bed and shouted in a high-pitched voice, "Someone has slept on my bed and here she is!" | Después entraron todos en la alcoba. | The noise woke the girl. When she opened her eyes and saw the bears, she was very scared. She got up and ran out of the house. The three bears went to the door. They saw her run through the woods towards her house. They did not follow her because they were good and kind. And that's all I know about the girl and the three bears that lived in the beautiful forest in the little house with only one window and one door. | Este ruido despertó a la niña.
