Note: Most of the examples us the familiar "tú" form. In Spain the familiar form is very often used and if you are a foreigner or a non native speaker nobody will be offended if you use the familiar form rather tahn the usted form. This may not be the case in South America.
Note: You may notice in some of the examples that when using Estoy + Adjective - I am + adjective
The answer may change according to the sex of the person refered to.
I am a man so I would say. Estoy cansado - I am tired
A woman would say. Estoy cansada - I am tired.
